Yes, the levels build on each other — §22 and higher require a valid certificate from the level below plus the required practice.

How often does the certificate need renewing?

Certificates under Decree No. 508/2009 Coll. are typically renewed every 5 years through refresher training.

Do you also run training for people without an electrical background?

Yes. Non-electricians can enrol directly in the §21–§24 training and obtain, for example, the basic §21 certificate — a prior electrical background is not a requirement. Separately, we also arrange purely orientation-style training for managers and sales representatives who need to get oriented in the subject without sitting a competence examination.

We arrange preparation for the professional competence examinations under Decree No. 508/2009 Coll. — from the basic §21 level up to inspection technician §24. The training is open to non-electricians too, who can take §21, for example, as their formal entry into the trade — a prior electrical background is not a requirement. It combines theory with practical exercises, so you sit the examination before the technical inspectorate properly prepared.
