Who we are

How we started

The company was founded in 2012, but its foundation goes back much further. Our founder has worked in electrical engineering since the age of 14 — through secondary and university education to a practice that now spans more than 25 years. He went through the whole path from the ground up: as an electrical fitter, later as an electrical foreman directly on construction sites, then as a sole trader for various electrical companies and with his own clients, and since 2012 under the KaSyCo name.

Education and authorizations

He holds a university degree in electrical engineering and is a certified inspection technician for designated technical equipment in four areas at once:

• electrical equipment — scope E2A and E2B — equipment up to 1000 V including lightning protection, in facilities with and without explosion hazard

• gas equipment — scope A and B, covering heating gases, technical gases, compressed-air systems and refrigerants

• pressure equipment — scope A and B

• lifting equipment

He is also an electrical engineer authorized to manage and supervise operations under § 23 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll., and a certified designer of electrical installations up to 1000 V including lightning protection, for facilities with and without explosion hazard.

At KaSyCo we keep learning about what's new in our field and in electrical engineering generally — we track technological developments and stand behind innovation in the trade. That holds for photovoltaics too: our founder is a certified photovoltaic advisor and a graduate of a specialist seminar run by the Slovak Electrotechnical Association on photovoltaic electrical installation in current practice.

Where we've worked

We've prepared electrical designs for healthcare facilities — hospitals, polyclinics and outpatient clinics — as well as for industrial halls, office buildings, apartment buildings and family houses. In photovoltaics we handle design, project planning, solutions, optimization, training and inspections — we don't carry out the installation and assembly ourselves; for that we work with a vetted network of our own specialists, the same as with standard electrical installation work. As part of the supply chain, we've also contributed to projects for international brands such as Amazon, REWE and the Krønasår hotel at Europa-Park in Germany.

How we work

Inspections, design, technical supervision, training and technical consulting — the entire expert and administrative scope of our services — we handle ourselves, directly at KaSyCo. We only send out physically demanding electrical installation work that requires dedicated installation capacity, to a vetted network of electricians.

Why someone who has taught before leads our training

Passing on experience has long been part of how we work, not an add-on service. Our founder taught at a technical secondary school, lectured university students, and led training for managers, staff and sales representatives looking to get up to speed in electrical engineering. That same experience is behind our electrician training today, as well as the practical worker orientation we provide for staffing companies and agencies.
